Lingo Driver - Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) outlines how Lingo Driver collects, uses, stores, and protects your personal and usage data when you access our mobile application, web application, and associated online services (collectively referred to as “Services”). This Policy is intended to be read in conjunction with our Terms of Use. By using our Services, you acknowledge and accept the data practices described in this Policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the Services.

Each time you use Lingo Driver, you are consenting to the collection and use of your data as described in this Privacy Policy. We may revise this Policy at any time. Changes will be published within the app and/or our website with a new effective date. Continued use after updates indicates acceptance of those changes.

We do not store raw voice recordings; we store only average pronunciation scores per lesson.

Voice recordings are not stored; only pronunciation scores (1–5 stars) are retained for each lesson.

We may aggregate anonymous learning behavior data (e.g., average lesson scores, completion rates) for internal analytics, service improvements, and academic research. These datasets cannot identify individual users.

By purchasing a subscription to this app, you acknowledge and agree that:

Standard All billing and subscription management (including cancellations and refunds) must be handled directly through your Apple ID account settings.
  • Google Play Users: Subscriptions and payments made through the Google Play Store are subject to Google's policies. By using this app, you agree to the Google Play Terms of Service. 15. Text Messages and Phone Calls

If you provide your phone number and check the consent box on our Text and Call Notifications page, Lingo Driver (operated by EzTechTonic Inc, 9122 Town Center Parkway, Ste 103, Bradenton, FL 34202) may send you automated text messages and place phone calls to that number, including messages sent by an automatic telephone dialing system and calls using an artificial or prerecorded voice.

Consent is not a condition of purchase or of receiving any Lingo Driver service.

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan.

How to stop. Reply STOP to any text message to opt out at any time. Reply HELP for help, or email support@lingodriver.com. You may also withdraw consent by emailing support@lingodriver.com from any address or by writing to the postal address above. Opt-out requests are honored automatically and immediately; no confirmation from a person is required.

What we keep as proof of consent. When you submit the form we record the phone number, the exact wording of the consent you were shown, the language of the page, the version of that wording, the date and time, your IP address and browser user agent. We keep this record for as long as required to demonstrate compliance with applicable law, including the Telephone Consumer Protection Act, and no less than five years after consent is withdrawn.

We do not share your consent data. Phone numbers collected for text messaging and consent records are not sold, rented or shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing purposes. They are shared only with the service providers who deliver the messages and calls on our behalf, and only for that purpose.

Deletion requests. If you ask us to delete your personal data, we delete it from our operational systems. We keep the minimum consent record required by law - the wording, its version, the date and a one-way hash of the phone number - so that we can demonstrate that the consent existed. This record cannot be used to contact you.

Social Media and Mobile Apps

Lingo Driver has official pages on Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube. If you interact on our social media, their own privacy policies apply. Our mobile apps do not connect to social networks or enable social sharing.
